Ingredients
- 1kg pork shoulder/pork butt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon five spice powder
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon Chinese Rice Wine
- 3 Cubes Fermented beancurd
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons honey/ maltose
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- Red Colourings ( as desired)

Pork ( with a bit if fat) > 1 kg. Cut to 6 to 7 strips |

Soak meat into seasonings |

It should look like this |
- Pre-heat oven to 200 degree C (around 400 degree F)
- Before baking, add around 1/2 tablespoon of warm water and 1/2 tablespoon of char siu sauce with 1 tablespoon of honey. Combine well.
