Making sponge cake

Ingredients
2/3 cup~  4oz/100g self-raising flour
1/4cup ~ 2oz/50g sugar (normal should be fine)
4oz/100g butter
2 eggs
40ml milk

Mixture 1
Seperate egg white from the yolk.

Blend egg white with some sugar ( from the half cup)

Until fluffy and stiff peak formed.

Set aside

Mixture 2
Blend butter with sugar.
Add egg yolk and milk

Blend till creamy.

Sift flour into mixture and add remaining sugar

Blend till creamy

Fold Mixture 1 slowly to Mixture 2.

Mix to get a creamy batter.

Put it in a cake tin with baking paper.

Put it in the oven for 18-20 minutes on 200'c or more.

* impt to preheat oven before putting in the cake mixture

Method
